Do You Notice Me?


do you notice me?
sitting up there on your perch of popularity
do you notice me?
when i try to fit in with you,ignoring your looks of pity

do you notice me?
when i try my to be nice to attract attention
do you notice me?
when i try to break your concentration

do you notice me?
when i say it's my birthday and hint what i want unabashedly
do you notice me?
when i cheer at your birthday as you smile prettily

do you notice me?
when i hide my disappointment when you ignore me
do you notice me?
when i try even harder to make you try to see

do you notice me?
when i finally give up and stop pestering you
do you notice me?
when my absence is filled by the next wannabe

this happens almost every where i go.
pathetic but true.
